What the workflow supports
- Complex staging
- Sequenced movements with per-stage limits you set: anchorage held while neighbours move, space opened before teeth move into it, difficult movements started early and given the stages they need. Overcorrection where you ask for it, and nowhere else.
- Tooth movement visualisation
- Translation, rotation, tipping, torque, intrusion and extrusion for every tooth, as figures in a table and as motion in the viewer. Initial and final superimposed, and any stage in between.
- Attachments
- Type, position and placement stage per tooth, chosen from the movement each tooth needs. Bevelled, rectangular or optimised shapes as your prescription allows, with the aesthetic zone treated as you instruct.
- IPR
- A contact-by-contact schedule in tenths of a millimetre, tied to the stage at which each reduction is needed, within the per-contact and per-arch limits you set. Totals per quadrant and arch, and a chairside chart.
- Occlusion
- Interarch contacts reviewed at the final stage and at intermediate stages, with collision checks as teeth move. Canine guidance, overjet and overbite reported, not assumed.
- Case revisions
- Comments on a tooth, a stage, an attachment or a contact. Each round is a new numbered version; the previous version is kept and can be reopened.
- Digital records
- The approved version, its tables and its files stay with the case number. Refinements start from the record, not from memory.
Working with a specialist prescription
A specialist's instructions are usually more specific than a general practitioner's: stage limits, anchorage preferences, sequencing, whether to distalise or expand, how much IPR is acceptable at which contacts. The planning team works to those instructions and reports where a constraint could not be met rather than quietly relaxing it.
Review happens in the browser, with the movement and IPR tables beside the model. Comments tied to a tooth number or a stage are answered on the same thread and delivered as a new version.
